Crimson Muddle was born from Miss Hellebore's nightmares in 2003. It went through several incarnations, while Hellebore was trying to create the perfect creature... But since these various chimeres never lived long enough, she offered her numerous talents to the igoresque delirium of Deadchovsky.
Then in 2008, Hellebore decided to give it another go... She sewed her head on a body made of Abesada's arms, Annie-Dog's legs and Little Spigaou's torso. They started recording a few songs for their first EP, played a few gigs then one morning, the torso ended up in a girlz cemetary! The girls decided to go on with a dream come true: a woman's body!
In 2010, this freaky body gave birth to "Nocturne", a collection of strange dreams muddling electronic beats, military rythms, barocco-psychedelic violin, sleepwalking bass lines, weird keyboards and words in various languages...

Founded in 2006 in Lisbon, the band ranges from indie / post-punk / post-rock and draws his sounds in the 80's scene (Joy Division, Bauhaus, The Cure...), mixing dark and light atmosphere. After their first album "Mirrors" in 2010, the band has just released their second album "1984" and we are honored to receive them in Paris to complete its tour, having shared the stage with Peter Hook, She Wants Revenge, or O Children.

Unlikely mixture of styles, the music of Crimson Muddle oscillates between cold-wave, martial electro and chamber music, through dense and oppressive compositions. On stage, the band embraces this desire to escape the compulsory figures exchanging willingly their instruments according to their desires: keyboards, violin, theremin, bass, melodica, glockenspiel, concertina... After their first album "Nocturne" released in 2010 in Manic Depression and the EP "Русалка" in 2012, the band is currently recording his second album "The Rousalka."
